I've been a bit quiet for the last few weeks because life just got a bit crazy. We're at the point where it's time to move... we were planning on doing this late in the spring or early summer. But life is not a straight line and we just were handed a little detour! :o) So the time is now to find a place and let the adventure and next chapter begin. I know, packing, moving, unpacking, getting settled - I'm sure you're just booking that plane ticket to join in the party - NOT! LOL But it's part of life. So while I do the worrying, I hope you'll continue to be creative and share your designs so I can live vicariously through you.
My studio will need to be packed, and while it's the last thing I'm planning on packing and the first I'm unpacking... my time will need to be spent sorting, organizing, packing, storing, etc. the rest of our lives. So the creating on my end will be sporatic, but I promise to share as often as I can.
So bear with me, please and share your beautiful designs! You're welcome to share on my Designs by Dawn Marie Facebook wall as I would love to share your gorgeous work with my fans. I try to bring sunshine to someone everyday, but while mama's busy with life, I could use a few extra helpers spreading the love! ;)

I'm in the same boat with ya girlfriend...think of it this way - your move will be local and much easier than mine - all the way across the country from Texas to Alaska.

I'm sorry you've got so much packing and unpacking to do! That can be a real pain. If you need any packing tips, feel free to email me. I moved a lot as a kid, and I have some tricks up my sleeve.

Ohh we are in the same boat aren't we. I looked for rentals today. Seem like there is a lot to choose from in my part of the world. I can't wait to get off the coast and a bit inland. LOL

Oh yeah, been there done that a few times girl! The last was 3 years ago, and I hope I don't do it again for a while! If you don't have to worry about selling your home, you're good to go. If you do, then I would highly recommend getting a storage unit wherever you're headed to, and putting as much as you can in it. Keep us updated as you can! Hugs!

We are expecting some pretty crappy weather here in upstate NY. I love your beaded cuff in your etsy shop!!! We are holding a fundraiser with macrame bracelets. The funds go to build and run children's basic needs centers in the communities where the bracelets are hand made.
I shuddered when you mentioned packing a studio. I can not begin to imagine packing up mine. Good luck with the move, it's never fun especially in winter. I moved once in January as a child in upstate NY. Thankfully I live in Texas now where the weather is much more agreeable. Don't get to stressed out, this too shall pass.
